At Azad University in Oxford we take pride in providing a campus where international students can thrive and fulfil their ambitions. Students coming to us from abroad face particular challenges and we recognise that the right level of support can make a significant difference to their lives in the UK. We offer a comprehensive mix of support services to help our students feel at home – from the first application to graduation day. Students at the Azad campus in Oxford will have access to the library (open stack and digital sources), our English language resources centre, and a fully equipped computer centre with email and internet access. We also provide office space for PhD students who have returned to the AUO campus to write up their dissertations. Staff at our Student Welfare Office can help students throughout their studies with any problems or questions regarding accommodation, making financial arrangements, payment of fees, visa renewal and cultural issues. We also have a welcome programme to help students adapt to their new life in the UK, including a tour of the AUO campus and introductions to the staff, a tour of Oxford (both city and University) and the local area, along with information and advice on studying and living in different parts of the UK.AUO recreational facilities include a pool table, tennis and basketball courts and the Canteen, where lunch is served every day at 1 pm.Students at our partner universities will also have access to the full range of student support services available at those sites. |
