The Short Course in Leadership in Higher Education delivers an intensive 10 day workshop series for senior university managers. In July 2009, Azad University in Oxford ran its first programme for Vice Chancellors of Azad University in Iran in collaboration with the University of Oxford and Kingston University, London.

 Following the success of that programme and the significant client response, we will run the next Higher Education Short Course in June during the above dates.

 Azad University in Oxford has tailor made this programme to provide training in the areas of university governance and innovation. Our aim is to help participants develop their professional skills as managers of change and as contributors to policy development within the higher education sector. The training modules include leadership skills, international strategy and decision making.

 Above all, this programme is designed for senior university managers who want to understand the global market in which they now have to operate. Emphasis is given to examining the system of higher education in the UK and the increasing importance of internationalization within that system. Participants will benefit from access to the expertise of higher education professionals of Oxford University, the Leadership Foundation, Kingston University London, in addition to experts from other prominent institutions and consultancies.
