Higher National Diploma to BSc / MSc Print E-mail

Azad University in Oxford is enrolling Higher National Diploma graduates to continue their education to Bachelor's and Master's levels for 2010 in the following subjects.  Eligible candidates must send their application form and required documents  by e-mailing: This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it   by 26 November 2009. The selected candidates should attend at an exam similar to IELTS in which the minimum required score is level 4.  The education department of Azad University in Oxford will contact those candidates who have successfully gained the required mark in the English exam, to request further documents that will need to be sent to Azad University in Oxford.

After receiving the required documents, Azad University in Oxford will announce the names of successful candidates. 

After 2 years study students will obtain a Bachelors Degree and after a further year they will achieve their Masters.

Course Details

  1. This course is delivered by Azad University in Oxford in cooperation with Kingston University in London.
  2. The length of the course is 2 years for a Bachelors degree and then a further year for a Masters degree (continuation on to the Masters level is optional).
  3. The certificate will be issued by Kingston University in London.
  4. The first year of the course will be delivered at Azad University in Oxford for the student to improve their English in order to obtain a Level 6 at the IELTS Exam, and also for the foundation course.  The second year and then the further year for the Masters will be delivered at Kingston University in London.
  5. Those candidates who successfully finish their Bachelors will progress straight on to their Masters in the same subject at Kingston University in London.
  6. Those candidates who do not obtain the required IELTS score are able to continue their language studies for another year by paying the relevant tuition fee.
  7. All teaching will be delivered in English.

Conditions of Acceptance

  1. Hold an Approved Higher National Diploma by Ministry of Science, Research and Technology (Estate Universities, Azad Islamic University and Applied - Science University).
  2. Minimum average of 14 out of 20 in their Higher National Diploma.
  3. The letter of acceptance will be issued by Kingston University and the candidates will have to apply for their visa in person.
  4. Required Documents: The following documents need to be sent after successfully finishing the English Language Exam.
    • Official translation of Higher National Diploma and its supplements (those who are graduating in   January 2010 can send this at a later date, at this stage a letter from their University confirming their status will be sufficient).
    • Official translation of High school Diploma and Pre-University course and its supplements.
    • Official translation of their ID (Birth Certificate)
  5. Fees
    • First year course at Azad University in Oxford - £3,450.00 starting from January 2010
    • Second year at Kingston University leading to BSc - £8,800.00
    • One year Masters course at Kingston University in London leading to MSc - £8,800.00
  6. Living Costs (including accommodation, food, clothes, transport) - £650.00 per month.
  7. Successful candidates will need to pay the first year’s tuition fee plus a deposit for their first six months accommodation (equivalent to £2,800) in advance directly to Azad University in Oxford’s Bank account before the letter of acceptance can be issued.
