Azad Digital Library

Azad University (IR) in Oxford is pleased to announce a ‘new look’ for our digital library. We now have a fully fledged digital platform in operation giving on site access to a vast store of academic resources in almost every field of the sciences and humanities.

This is a rich resource and one that is vital to our academic work here at the Oxford branch. It will give vital support to both our students and staff in the development of teaching and research projects. It will also allow us to broaden the range and scope of our Short Course Programme.

We would like to thank our parent institution, Islamic Azad University in Iran for their help and cooperation in bringing this project through to a successful conclusion. We will all reap great benefit from having this source available to us and we are deeply grateful.

Workshop & Annual Postgraduate Conference

Azad University (IR) in Oxford will host the first annual postgraduate conference this February. This conference aims to provide an opportunity for our postgraduate students to present their current research to a professional academic audience and discuss new directions and future developments.

Our workshop aims to support our postgraduate students as they continue to build a core foundation in the specific skills required not only for PhD research but for the professional academic work they will pursue upon finishing their degrees here. The sessions will address the general needs of a diverse set of researchers, while offering students the opportunity to have some guidance  in the areas particularly relevant to their own fields.

We hope to promote a spirit of training, learning and communicating through the active participation and professional exchange between students, staff and a select group of academics from other UK universities.

The event will take place at our Oxford campus over two days and will include a series of conference panel presentations along with workshops in research training and development.
